In order to further enrich the employees' leisure time, promote physical health, and encourage communication and interaction among staff from different departments, the company's trade union organized the "Winter New Year" fun event on the afternoon of January 24, 2014. The event took place simultaneously in the factory area and the second-floor lecture hall, offering a variety of engaging activities that brought together over 500 participants.
The event featured two main components: sports games and a karaoke competition. The sports segment focused on enjoyment and camaraderie, following the principle of friendship first and competition second. Employees actively signed up for individual events such as shuttlecock kicking and running, while team-based activities like tug-of-war and the red flag relay fostered unity and teamwork. Each participant showcased their talents, and the spirit of cooperation was evident throughout the day.
In addition to the sports activities, the karaoke competition attracted more than 30 employees, who were divided into three groups. Each group selected one winner, with the rest submitting their performances as entries. Wang Yongfeng, Dong Yuxing, and Yang Songcan emerged as the top performers in their respective groups, adding a musical highlight to the event.
The "Winter New Year" event not only provided a fun and relaxing atmosphere but also helped strengthen bonds among colleagues, boosting morale and enthusiasm across the company. It was a great way to celebrate the season and show appreciation for the hard work of all employees.
