Sand Al2O3 Technology Produced by Diaspore Separation with High Concentration of Semenite

According to the characteristics of China's diaspore resource and production process, the process of agglomeration and growth of seed crystals in sodium aluminate solution was systematically studied. Through a large number of basic researches and industrial-scale full-flow experimental studies, a new technology for the production of sand alumina with a high concentration of semenite diaspore in water has been proposed.

The innovation results are as follows: 1. The effect of temperature, solid content, concentration, and supersaturation on the seed crystal decomposition process was revealed; 2. The first time the development of a high alkali and high concentration condition was used to increase the crystal length by semen diversion. The technology of producing high-strength sand-like alumina with large filling power.

Bayer's method uses this new technology to significantly increase the degree of supersaturation of the solution in the early stages of the crystal growth process, facilitates the agglomeration of the decomposition process and increases the strength of the product, and ensures the granularity of the system by controlling the process conditions such as segregation ratio of semen. The distribution is stable. The results of the experimental study show that the alumina wear index can reach 20% or less after shunting and the relative decrease of 25.7% compared with no shunt. This law has been verified by industrial tests. The product aluminum hydroxide and aluminum oxide particles have a good appearance. The polycrystalline particles mainly composed of agglomerates grow rather than crystals grow in the radial direction, and the grains of product particles are small, and high-strength sand alumina products can be obtained.

This achievement has China's independent intellectual property rights, which provides a theoretical basis and technical support for the production of sand alumina in the high concentration of diaspore bauxite in China, and is of great significance to improving the quality of metallurgical grade alumina products in China. This achievement has advanced technology and adaptability, and the system granularity is easy to control. It is widely used in the production of sand-like alumina with diaspore as raw material.
