Spring Flower 7 New Peanut Variety Accepts Acceptance

On July 24, 2008, the Putian City Agriculture Bureau organized more than 20 leading experts of the relevant units to undertake demonstration projects of the new crop variety promotion “6321” seed project at this year's Municipal Seed Management Station, namely, the new peanut variety, Quanhua No. 7, etc. With the demonstration of expansion, it will be accepted on site, covering an area of ​​100 mu and located in Dongjin Village, Lingchuan Town, Chengxiang District, Putian City. Acceptance results: After the Quanhua No. 7 was dried, the per mu yield was 306.8kg; the Quanhua No. 10 (CK) was dried and the per mu output was 262.2kg. Quanhua 7 produced 44.6kg per mu, which was 17.01% higher than that of the control seed spring flower No.10. Based on the acceptance test and comprehensive trait analysis by experts, it is believed that the new peanut variety No. 7 performs better, with higher yields, more pods, fewer pods, less rot and less pods, and full pods. The demonstration planting can be further expanded next year.
