This year, Shaanxi's export volume reached a record high

According to the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, this year has seen a significant milestone in power transmission. Despite a general decline in power delivery across other provinces within the Northwest Power Grid, Shaanxi successfully completed its power supply targets, achieving "three new records." By November, the Shaanxi Power Grid had already transmitted 62.6 billion kWh of electricity to other regions. In March alone, the total amount of power sent out reached 1.605 billion kWh, and on March 24, the daily power delivery hit an impressive 57.97 million kWh—setting new annual, monthly, and single-day records. In the first 11 months of the year, the province transmitted a total of 28,038 million kWh of electricity through three different methods. This represents a 3.18% increase compared to the same period last year. Specifically, the "point-to-grid" transmission to Hebei South dropped by 6.48% to 21.317 billion kWh. However, the "grid-to-grid" transmission to the Central China Power Grid increased significantly by 55.96%, reaching 6.26 billion kWh. Additionally, the distribution network transmitted 1.352 billion kWh to neighboring provinces, up 9.92% year-on-year. Notably, in just the first half of the year, Shaanxi’s cross-regional power supply exceeded the total delivered in the entire previous year, reaching 5.284 billion kWh. These achievements highlight the growing role of Shaanxi in regional energy supply and its ability to maintain stability and efficiency even amid broader challenges in the power sector. The data reflects not only strong performance but also strategic planning and operational excellence in power management.
