**1. Grass Carp Bacterial Rot and Enteritis Complication:**
To treat this condition, 15 kilograms of quicklime is sprinkled per mu of water. Then, 50 grams of Radix Isatidis (Banlangen) and 100 grams of Scutellaria baicalensis are mixed with 2.5 kilograms of water and boiled into a decoction. This liquid is then used to cook rice or feed for the fish. The treatment should be given once daily for two consecutive days. If the condition is severe, the treatment may be repeated up to three or four times.
**2. Long-necked Fish with Red Skin Disease, Rotten Gills, and Enteritis Complications:**
For every 100 kg of fish, mix 100 grams of Banlangen with other herbs such as Coptis, Scutellaria barbata, Andrographis paniculata, Pleurotus ostreatus, thatch root, and licorice juice in appropriate proportions. Add 2 grams of oxytetracycline and blend well into the feed. Administer this mixture once daily for five days. Combining this with topical disinfectants can significantly improve the outcome and help prevent the disease from spreading.
**3. Grass Carp Hemorrhagic Disease:**
To prevent this disease, administer Banlangen and Andrographis paniculata every half month one month before the outbreak season. On the first day, for every 100 kg of fish, mix 2.5 kg of Banlangen, 1.5 kg of Andrographis paniculata, and boil them in water for one hour. Add 0.5 kg of salt and combine with 4 kg of wheat bran or corn flour to make bait. On the second day, reboil the remaining residue for 1.5 hours and use the liquid again. Alternatively, mix 0.5 kg each of rhubarb, cork, Scutellaria, Banlangen, and 0.5 kg of salt, and feed the mixture for seven days. Another method involves mixing 70% Banlangen with 30% bitter wood, using 2.5–5 kg of the mixture per 100 kg of fish, along with 0.5 kg of powder and 5–10 g of sulfonamide drugs, administered for 5–7 consecutive days.
