Coaxial submersible pumps are a type of submersible pump where the impeller is directly mounted on the motor's shaft extension, making it a compact and efficient system. These pumps are known for their easy installation, no need for a dedicated pump room, small footprint, and the ability to be controlled remotely over long distances. They are safe, reliable, and simple to maintain. Their short and sturdy design makes them ideal for various applications such as drainage, emergency water removal, surface drainage, urban stormwater management, and agricultural irrigation and drainage.
To ensure optimal performance, these pumps must be fully submerged in water during operation. The motor should be filled with clean water or a specially formulated aqueous solution. The water temperature should not exceed 20°C, and the solid content in the water must not exceed 0.01%. Additionally, the water should not contain harmful chemicals, with a pH value ranging between 6.5 and 8.5.
The system consists of several key components, including the submersible motor, the pump body, power and signal cables, connectors, gate valves, check valves, elbows, and more. The submersible motor features a wet-sealed structure and is typically installed vertically. It often includes cooling ribs and water channels, along with an intake hood to help dissipate heat. A flexible capsule at the bottom allows the motor to automatically adjust and balance internal and external pressure. The motor also uses mechanical seals with rubber oil seals, combined with "O" rings and sealing compounds for superior leak resistance. High-quality, wear-resistant materials are used for the guide and thrust bearings, ensuring strong load-bearing capacity and durability.
The submersible pump itself has a single-stage impeller designed for multiple uses, mounted directly on the extended motor shaft. The impeller and guide shell are made from high-strength, wear-resistant cast iron, and can be customized with alloy or coated materials based on specific needs. The control cabinet includes protection against short circuits, overloads, and voltage fluctuations, along with water level monitoring and temperature control systems. The power cable is a waterproof three-core rubber cable, available in 5-meter lengths or custom options.
