On January 14th, with the strong support of the provincial party committee, provincial government, and the provincial quality supervision bureau, the Jixi National Graphite Quality Inspection and Testing Center was officially completed. Alongside this milestone, the Provincial Graphite Product Standardization Technical Committee, composed of over 30 academicians, experts, and professors, was also formally established. Vice Mayor Lan Zhizhen attended the press conference held at the provincial newspaper building that day and delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the center and the committee for the development of the graphite industry.
It is known that Jixi has long been recognized for its advanced technical capabilities in graphite product inspection and testing. Since 1998, it has been responsible for the supervision and inspection of graphite products. In order to better support the growth of the national graphite industry, the State Administration of Quality Supervision officially approved the establishment of the National Graphite Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center at the end of 2011. This center serves as a key platform for quality testing, technical services, and innovation, helping to drive the healthy and rapid development of the graphite new materials industry.
In accordance with the Heilongjiang Provincial Standardization Regulations, Jixi has fully leveraged its quality supervision functions. In July 2013, the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau officially approved the formation of the Provincial Graphite Product Standardization Technical Committee. The committee has actively participated in the development of national and industry standards, aiming to enhance the depth and global influence of China’s involvement in standardization activities.
At the joint press conference organized by the provincial government and the quality supervision department, Han Yufeng, director of the newly elected Provincial Graphite Product Standardization Committee, chairman of the National Graphite Industry Technology Innovation Strategy Alliance, and chairman of the Aoyu Graphite Group, made a public statement. He also gave interviews to major national and provincial media outlets, emphasizing the significance of these new developments for the future of the graphite industry in the region and across the country.
