The 12th Xi'an International Furniture Fair ended successfully

On October 21, the four-day 12th Xi'an International Furniture Fair and the 3rd Xi'an International Redwood Classical Furniture Fair concluded successfully at the Xi'an Qujiang International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event showcased over 400 renowned products, with thousands of new items making their debut. More than 60,000 domestic and international buyers attended on-site, including over 10,000 dealers. A deal value of nearly 200 million yuan was signed on the spot, with active transactions reported throughout the exhibition. In a period when similar exhibitions in China have seen sluggish performance, this fair managed to create a positive trend. A modern Chinese-style solid wood bed combination caught the attention of many visitors, reflecting the growing demand for elegant and functional furniture designs. The exhibition featured a wide range of brands, including civilian furniture, mahogany furniture, office furniture, home accessories, woodworking machinery, and more. Notable participants included Fule Furniture, Daming Palace Industrial Group, Mingzhu International Group, Actually Home, Western Redwood Expo City, Malaysian Furniture Brands, Dr. Jin Jin Home Furnishing, Zhongrui Modern Furniture, Nanyang Dick Furniture, Jianwei Human Furniture, Gu Home Furnishing, Giant King Furniture, Daming Puwei Technology, Shengbaishi Redwood Furniture, Yugantang Redwood, and Honglin Honglinmeng Group. Each brand presented innovative and appealing products that attracted both buyers and industry professionals. The exhibition booths were designed with a unique aesthetic, featuring bold red and white color schemes, high door designs, and other eye-catching elements that made them stand out from previous years. Visitors were captivated by pieces like the mysterious golden silk wood bed, eco-style irregular bars, light and translucent bamboo furniture, adjustable angle office lounge chairs, intricately carved wooden rice tanks, red rosewood vanity boxes, and classic European-style furniture with rich aromas and elegant hooks. The one-fold furniture auction on the 19th and 20th days saw popular items like Fule mattresses, Giant Star mattresses, and Guangxing furniture sold at discounted prices, drawing significant interest. During the first day of the event, the "2013 Summit Forum on the Development Trend of Furniture and Home Furnishing Markets in Central and Western China" was held in Hall B2. Zhu Changling, Chairman of the China Furniture Association, highlighted the progress made by Shaanxi furniture enterprises, especially in the development of industrial parks and zones. He encouraged local companies to adopt new sales models such as furniture experience stores and trade-in programs, while also learning from successful examples in Sichuan to expand their market reach through innovation in design and product development. Jin Xifeng, Chairman of the Shaanxi Furniture Association, praised the efforts of local companies like Fule and Nanyang Dick, which have expanded beyond the region and helped drive the growth of surrounding enterprises. The fair not only promoted local brands but also played a key role in national furniture culture exchange. Anji County, known as the hometown of China's swivel chair, was invited to showcase its expertise, with brands such as Qianglong, Henglin, Botai, Zhongyuan, Fuhe, Dongrong, Wanchang, and Shengxin participating. Their presence offered fresh ideas and inspiration for the industry. It is reported that nearly 90% of exhibitors found ideal distributors during the event. Anji Pavilion and Mingzhu Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement to participate in the 13th Xi'an International Furniture Fair in 2014.
