Oil field own pockets upgrade labor insurance supplies

“Our labor insurance products in the oil fields are not only comfortable and durable, but also stylish and modern,” said employees at the recent symposium on labor protection products held by Qinghai Oilfield Company. The frontline workers expressed their satisfaction with the newly upgraded protective gear.

This year, Qinghai Oilfield Company invested over 5 million RMB to launch the “Upgrading of Special Labor Protective Products Production Lines” project. As part of this initiative, 65 new sets of production and testing equipment were purchased and installed. The Qinghai Oilfield Labor Services Company now produces 20,000 sets of anti-static workwear for field workers, along with 20,000 pairs of anti-static safety shoes and boots, and 300,000 pairs of waterproof and oil-resistant anti-static gloves. These improvements aim to enhance both safety and comfort for employees working in harsh plateau conditions.

The company is continuously focusing on improving the quality and design of its protective equipment, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of its workforce. This upgrade reflects a broader commitment to employee well-being and operational efficiency in one of China’s most challenging oil-producing regions.
