This marked the completion of the full series of local standards titled "Technical Specifications for Operation of Underground Confined Space Operations." The development of these standards was driven by the frequent occurrence of confined space accidents in the city and the need for more systematic safety measures. The series includes three main parts: Part 1 outlines the General Principles, Part 2 covers the Technical Code for Gas Detection and Ventilation, and Part 3 focuses on the Safety Equipment and Facilities Requirements. These documents set clear technical guidelines for underground confined space operations, helping operators implement proper safety procedures and protective measures. By establishing standardized practices, the standards not only guide workers but also support enhanced supervision and management of confined space safety. They have played a critical role in improving safety protocols and reducing incidents in recent years. Moving forward, efforts will be made to promote and widely disseminate these local standards. The goal is to ensure that they are effectively implemented, reinforcing the responsibility of operation units for safe production and significantly reducing the risk of confined space accidents.
