When the centrifugal pump is started, the pump shaft drives the impeller together to perform a high-speed rotary motion, forcing the liquid precharged between the blades to rotate. Under the action of the inertial centrifugal force, the liquid moves radially from the center to the periphery of the impeller. The liquid gains energy during the movement through the impeller, the static pressure increases, and the flow rate increases. When the liquid leaves the impeller and enters the pump casing, it decelerates due to the gradual enlargement of the flow passage in the casing, and part of the kinetic energy is converted into static pressure energy, and finally flows into the discharge pipeline in a tangential direction. Therefore, the scroll casing is not only a component that collects the liquid that flows from the impeller, but also a turning device. When the liquid is thrown from the center of the impeller to the periphery, the center of the impeller forms a low-pressure zone. Under the action of the total potential energy difference between the liquid level of the storage tank and the center of the impeller, the liquid is sucked into the center of the impeller. With the continuous operation of the impeller, the liquid is continuously sucked in and discharged. The mechanical energy obtained by the liquid in the centrifugal pump eventually manifests itself as an increase in static pressure energy.

1. It is forbidden to run without water, do not adjust the suction inlet to reduce the displacement, and prohibit the operation under too low flow;

2, monitoring the operation process, completely prevent the leakage of the stuffing box, use the new stuffing when replacing the stuffing box;

3, to ensure that the mechanical seal has a full flush of water, water-cooled bearings prohibit the use of excessive water flow;

4, do not use too much lubricant;

5, check according to the recommended cycle. Establish operating records, including hours of operation, adjustment and replacement of fillers, addition of lubricants and other maintenance measures and time. Centrifugal pump suction and discharge pressures, flow rates, input power, lotion and bearing temperature, and vibration conditions should be regularly recorded.

6, the host of the centrifugal pump is relying on the atmospheric pressure to pump the water from the lower part to the upper part, and the atmospheric pressure can only support the water column of about 10.3m at most, so the host of the centrifugal pump cannot work 12 meters away from the water surface.

4. Conveying easy-to-crystallize, easy-to-solidify, and easy-to-precipitate pumps. Stop the pump after stopping the pump, and flush the pump and pipe with clean water or other media in time.

5, discharge the liquid accumulated in the pump to prevent corrosion and cracking.
