New regulations on bolts and screws

The wedge load test of bolts and screws (excluding studs) mainly modified the aperture size of the wedge load test wedge pads. It is added that the wedge load test does not apply to the provisions of countersunk screws. The impact test of the machined test piece increases the specification of the impact test piece.

The new standard mainly adds the following provisions:

(1) Clearly define the slotted and Phillips screws without using the mark.

(2) The provision of the logo manufacturer's identification mark has been added. It is also added that the dealer uses his own identification mark and should be regarded as the manufacturer's identification mark.

(3) When the small bolts, screws or head shapes are not allowed to be marked with the performance level code specified by the standard, the clock surface method symbol can be used to mark the performance level on the product. The standard gives the clock face method symbol.

(4) Hexagon heads and hexagonal flower head bolts and screws for d5mm, all performance grades are mandatory on the product.

(5) On the packaging of all bolts, screws and stud products, the manufacturer's trademark or identification mark and performance level code are mandatory.
