How to test the efficiency of three-phase asynchronous motor more accurately? Dalan Motor unveiled this mystery!

Efficiency is an important evaluation indicator for three-phase asynchronous motors. Especially after the issuance and implementation of national energy conservation and emission reduction policies, the measurement of efficiency has become a topic of particular concern for various motor manufacturers. For different motors, the methods used are different, and they are also related to the test equipment provided by each motor manufacturer. Dalan Motor's small series today generalizes the measurement method of efficiency, and unveils the mystery of the hottest vocabulary “efficiency” in the context of energy conservation and emission reduction policies.

Classification of efficiency determination methods:

(1) Direct measurement method: The method is intuitive, simple, and relatively accurate, but it is not conducive to the specific analysis and targeted improvement of the performance of the motor.

(2) Indirect measurement method: also known as loss analysis method. The method has many test items, which is time-consuming and laborious, and has more calculation amount. The comprehensive precision is worse, but it can show the specific conditions of determining the main components of the motor efficiency, thus facilitating the design, process and manufacture of the motor. The problem is analyzed in a targeted manner, and the performance of the motor is required to be improved or further improved by improvement.

(3) The method of theoretical calculation after simple test: This method is the method used when the test equipment is insufficiently configured, and the accuracy is the worst.

The efficiency limits specified in the technical conditions of most current motors require the use of loss analysis for efficiency determination.

Test method classification:

GB/T 1032 refers to the relevant standards of IEC and NEMA, and classifies the method for determining the efficiency of three-phase asynchronous motor, and uses the code name.

Method A - input-output method. Usually only for motors with rated power ≤ 1kW or efficiency index ≤ 80%.

Method B - Input-output loss analysis method measures stray loss. The accuracy of the measurement instrumentation is high (generally required to be no less than 0.2).

C method - loss analysis indirect method (feedback) measured stray loss.

E method - loss analysis method and measured stray loss.

E1 method - loss analysis method recommends stray loss.

F method - equivalent circuit method and measured stray loss.

F1 method - equivalent circuit method and recommended stray loss.

G method - reduce voltage load method and measured stray loss.

G1 method - reduce voltage load method and recommend stray loss.

H method - circle chart calculation method
